Le décollage :
Le décollage des deux potes se situe à une altitude de 1520m (46.2986;5.9833).

L’orientation du vent :
le décollage est favorable de NE, E, SE à S . C’est défavorable s’il est orienté de SO, O, NO à N . Suivant la force des vents SO, O à N, il est tout à fait possible de décoller des Deux potes mais attention aux turbulences.
Accès :
Pour y accéder à pieds il faut compter 1h30 depuis le parking mais cela passe assez vite. Se garer à l’atterrissage et remonter jusqu’en haut du téléphérique. Avec le téléphérique, c’est plus rapide mais il n’est que trop peu ouvert. Il est interdit de monter en voiture.
Remarques :
Une flammèche est visible sur la webcam du téléphérique. C’est un très bon indicateur de l’orientation du vent au décollage. TMA de Genève : donc strict respect de la réglementation aérienne . Réserve naturelle nationale de la Haute Chaîne du Jura : restrictions de survol par arrêté préfectoral.
L’atterrissage :
Coordonnées GPS : 46.2758 ; 6.0131 L’atterrissage est à 560 m, il est grand, dégagé mais thermique. Il est strictement interdit de survoler les maisons en rouge, les tennis, l’école et les aires de jeu. Il ne faut pas non plus faire les bases trop près de la route pour éviter de distraire les automobilistes et de déranger les riverains. Il est utilisable quelque soit l’orientation du vent, mais il faut faire attention à ne pas poser sous les rouleaux des arbres suivant l’orientation du vent. Stationnement OBLIGATOIRE sur les parkings de l’école ou de la salle du Rossillon . Atterrissage de secour sur le chemin en face de la salle du Rossillon.
